Most everyone complains about the heat (or cold) on shooting day. I shot with another club (Sun River Rangers) and they were complaining about how hot it was by the time we finished shooting. When I left the campground to drive to the range (about 30 miles) it was 51 and when we finished it was in the lower 80's with maybe 20% humidity. One could get spoiled real fast except maybe in January.
The Sun River Rangers (Simms, MT) is the only club in Montana that own the own land and is the location of the Montana State Championship. It was a fun time and great people to be around.
Think it will have cooled off by our September shoot? |

Yeah ain't it crazy. I'm sure it might cool off some by September. Maybe only a high of 90.
We still require "cowboy clothes" which means no cargo pants and no tee-shirts; and we'll have plenty of cool water to drink. Looking forward to the cooler weather though. Hope to see ya this weekend. _________________ SASS# 81842
